Response to Editorial on Gun Control

Share

The Times appears to have changed from journalism to “broken-record-ism” when the subject is guns. Your editorial, (Feb.18) again calling for more and more ( ad nauseam ) gun control in the wake of the wounding of the 8-year-old at Disneyland, again shows The Times to be out of touch with reality regarding gun control.

It’s been determined that most likely someone fired a gun into the air and when the bullet came down it struck the girl riding on the train. The odds of this happening are probably greater than winning the lottery! How many laws are required before The Times finally realizes that gun laws don’t work? How many laws are on the books now that were violated by whoever fired this weapon?.

Get off your knee-jerk, gun-control soapbox and start supporting more prison and police. Remember, Washington, D.C., has had gun prohibition for 15 years.
