WORLD IN BRIEF : SPAIN : Basques Blamed for Rash of Bombings

A bombing campaign blamed on Spanish Basque separatists continued in Madrid as a parcel blew up at the main post office and an explosive device sent to a government prosecutor was discovered. Police said two postal workers were injured in the post office explosion. The second bomb was defused. On Tuesday, the president of the national anti-terrorist court was injured when a package delivered to his Madrid home blew up as he opened it. A fourth package bomb delivered to a retired army officer in Valencia was discovered and detonated by bomb experts .
