Banker Pleads Guilty in Marcos Case: Rodolfo T. Arambulo, indicted on racketeering charges with Imelda Marcos, widow of deposed Philippine leader Ferdinand E. Marcos, pleaded guilty to a lesser charge and agreed to cooperate with prosecutors. Arambulo was former president of Los Angeles-based California Overseas Bank, which prosecutors say was secretly owned by Ferdinand Marcos. Prosecutors say Arambulo fraudulently tried to obtain federal deposit insurance for the bank.
