STRAIGHT JACKET

The negative was printed properly--if it had been flopped, Mr. Shaw’s jacket would have been buttoned on the wrong side and the shutter release on the Leica would have been on the wrong side of the camera. Cameras seem to have been designed for righties, not lefties.

(Nothing abnormal about using the left eye in looking through the view-finder. I am right-handed and right-footed . . . but I have probably taken as many pictures left-eyed as right-eyed. It just doesn’t make any difference.
