Fire Up by Burns

Regarding John Hannah’s story, “Burns Country,” Feb. 4: Outstanding! In 1984, accompanied by two of our sons and one of our daughters, we traveled to Alloway, Scotland. All in our party stood in the middle of the Doon Bridge and spontaneously sang “Auld Lang Syne.” It was an unforgettable occasion of pure joy.
