Coming back after a broken collarbone had kept him out of ski racing for more than two months, Alberto Tomba of Italy won a World Cup slalom at Geilo, Norway.
Tomba, 23, had a combined time of 1 minute 46.19 seconds to beat runner-up Michael Tritscher of Austria by 1.19 seconds.
