USC freshman diver Brian Earley won the one-meter event, scoring 489.7 points in the NCAA regional competition at Brigham Young in Provo, Utah.
BYU’s Terry Griffith finished second in the 20-man field with 463.05 points, and UCLA’s Chris Dudka was third at 461.20.
