Pirmin Zurbriggen of Switzerland, retiring after this season, clinched the World Cup super giant slalom title by winning the event’s season finale at Hemsedal, Norway.
Zurbriggen flashed down the Bergaloypa track, shortened by 458 meters to 1,710 meters because of strong winds at the top of the course, in 1 minute, 5.57 seconds for his 29th World Cup race victory.
