A former junior hockey player whose spine was fractured is suing the player who collided with him and the amateur hockey groups that govern the sport.

Paul Scott Alexander of Kirkland, Wash., a Seattle suburb, was playing in a junior B league game when the collision occurred Dec. 18, 1988.
