2 Arrested, 5 Tons of Pot Seized in Mexico

MEXICO CITY —
Narcotics agents seized about five tons of marijuana and arrested two men on suspicion of drug trafficking in the western city of Uruapan in Michoacan state, the government news agency Notimex said.
The agency quoted the attorney general’s office as saying the first man, arrested with a small amount of marijuana, turned in his accomplice, who was captured on a ranch.
