To me it doesn’t make any difference whether Atty. Gen. John K. Van de Kamp’s announcement regarding RU 486 was politically motivated or not; it was still a brilliant idea.
Here we are living in supposedly the most industrialized nation in the world and are stopped by a few religious zealots. Hopefully, this will be something the state can proudly point to as a progressive move not only for women, but for all people suffering breast cancer, prostate cancer and Cushing’s syndrome.
