20 Indian Tribes Sign First Mutual-Aid Treaty

Representatives of 20 Indian tribes from the United States and Canada signed a first-ever intertribal treaty Saturday, rallying them to protect tribal rights and preserve treaties. They fear that federal, state and local governments intend to disregard land and hunting rights.
