Times Mirror Buys Stake in Publisher: Times Mirror Co., which owns The Times and other media properties, said it has purchased about 45% of the stock of B. C. Decker Inc., a publisher of medical books and journals with offices in Toronto and Philadelphia. The price was not disclosed. Mosby-Year Book Inc., a Times Mirror subsidiary that also publishes medical books and journals, will continue to distribute Decker books in the United States and Canada.
