Surgery for Joined Twins

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. —
Siamese twins connected at the chest and stomach were operated on Tuesday at All Children’s Hospital in an attempt to separate the month-old boys, a spokeswoman said. Doctors said they were certain that the boys have independent hearts and lungs.
