TRW Seeks Order Barring Complaints: TRW Inc. sued Michael Jay & Co., the self-proclaimed “credit-repair people,” in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday for allegedly advising people to dispute their credit records and swamp TRW with lawsuits. The suit said the actions Michael Jay & Co. allegedly recommended were meant to hamper TRW’s normal credit verification procedures. The suit seeks unspecified damages and a permanent injunction preventing the firm from telling people to file specious complaints. (Filed April 3, 1990. Case No. C757188)
