BIRTHDAY BASH : Farmer’s Market Celebrates With Cake, Clogging

If birthday cake, fresh produce and clog dancing sound like fun, stop by the Ventura Certified Farmer’s Market from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Helping celebrate the market’s fourth birthday will be Adrian Bush and the Country Fiddlers playing their brand of country music. There will be dancing and demonstrations of clogging.

Produce available this week includes artichokes, asparagus, avocados, strawberries and mushrooms. The farmers will also offer homemade craft items and selected baked goods along with their jams and jellies.

The market is at Santa Clara and Figueroa streets in Ventura.
