West Hollywood : Law Enforcement Seminar
In an effort to increase the number of gay and lesbian candidates in the promotion and recruitment of deputy sheriffs, the city has joined the Sheriff’s Department in sponsoring a seminar on law enforcement career opportunities. The seminar will be held at 10 a.m. April 21 in the second-floor conference room in the blue building of the Pacific Design Center, 8687 Melrose Ave.
“The city has been actively working with the Sheriff’s Department to make sure that deputies reflect the community and are sensitive to the residents of West Hollywood,” said West Hollywood council member John Heilman.
