Senate Confirmation of Thrift Regulator Despite Past Drug Use

In big, bold letters on your editorial page: “A Good Career Gone Up in Smoke?” (Editorials, April 4). How could you and Ryan, along with the rest of us be so wrong. You said ignore the little drug prank in his youth, look at his qualifications. Now you know what happens with many government agencies and why you have savings and loan scandals.
