Leaping Cow Squashes Turkish Official’s Car

ANKARA, Turkey —
A cow destined for a Turkish slaughterhouse leaped from a truck onto the roof of a car carrying a provincial governor, crushing it and injuring the occupants, the daily Gunaydin said Monday.
Erol Cakir, governor of the western Mugla province, and his wife, driver and security guard suffered only slight injuries, but the car was almost a total loss, the newspaper said.
