MANAGUA BOUND: County GOP Chairman Thomas A. Fuentes, above, will attend the presidential inauguration in Nicaragua as guest of the nation’s vice president-elect, Virgilio Godoy Reyes. . . . The invitation came after Godoy visited Orange County last fall to attend a Republican fund-raiser in his honor. . . . The event raised “several thousand dollars” in campaign funds for Godoy and president-elect Violeta Barrios de Chamorro.
