Why Metric?
I wonder if Irvin Borders (Letters, April 16) has recently purchased a newton of potatoes? Or perhaps inflated his tires to 200,000 pascals?
These are metric quantities, of which he is enamored, but even the people in metric countries dislike them and don’t use them. Why should we?
