Readers Congratulate Jim Murray

I feel like a member of my family has been honored. Jim Murray won the Pulitzer Prize.

Jim Murray is one of the first people I look for when I pick up The L.A. Times. It isn’t that I’m a great sports fan, it’s just that this man is such a great writer that whatever subject he addresses is well-addressed.

His column on Pete Rose was a masterpiece. His articles on Special Olympics were things of beauty. His article on the death of his wife made me cry.

What a well-earned prize for a beautiful man.
