SHORT TAKES : Billy Idol Leaves Hospital

British rocker Billy Idol was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Sunday after another round of surgery to repair a leg badly injured in a motorcycle crash. A steel rod was implanted last week in Idol’s right leg to help repair a bone that had not been healing properly. The 34-year-old spike-haired singer was seriously hurt in February when his motorcycle collided with a car in Hollywood.
