Fortune Petroleum Corp., an energy concern in Agoura Hills, said Dean W. Drulias was named to its board of directors. His appointment is subject to ratification by Fortune’s stockholders.

Drulias is a partner with the law firm Burris, Wapner, Drulias & Hiestand, which has been Fortune’s legal counsel. He succeeded Philip D. Diamond, who resigned from the board last year.
