Coca-Cola Launches Coke in East Germany: Coca-Cola Co. launched a $140-million investment program to bottle and distribute Coca-Cola in East Germany. The Atlanta-based company said it sold more than 2 million cases of Coca-Cola since it introduced the beverage to East Germans in February. The product was shipped to East Germany from existing European production facilities.
