Iran Hangs 4 Convicted of Drug Possession

NICOSIA, Cyprus —
Four drug smugglers were hanged publicly in the southern Iranian provincial capital of Zahedan, the national news agency IRNA said Sunday.
IRNA said the four, executed Saturday, were found guilty of possessing more than 50 pounds of narcotics, mainly heroin.
