23 Kurdish Rebels Die in Clashes With Turk Forces

ANKARA, Turkey —
Government forces killed 23 suspected Kurdish guerrillas in two clashes in southeastern and eastern Turkey, the Anatolia news agency reported Friday.
The dispatch said three village guards were also killed during the fighting Thursday.
