Pros and Cons of ‘Dr. Grimes’ Bitter Pill’
Dr. Grimes stated his concern for the women who die every day from the complications of illegal abortions. He asked that “everyone look around and appreciate the uniqueness of these individuals, and to remember that there will never be any more quite like them again.”
He is correct, but his logic demands that he not have such callous disregard for the babies he aborts. There will never be any more quite like them either. He should appreciate the uniqueness of each individual embryo. They are human beings, not merely blueprints as Dr. Grimes suggests.
