A Bomb at “The Wall”: A Soviet World War II bomb was discovered in the Potsdamer Platz, the no man’s land near the Berlin Wall, while crews were preparing the site for the staging of “The Wall” rock extravaganza July 21. Border crossings nearby were temporarily halted as the bomb was defused. “The Wall,” popularized by Pink Floyd, will be staged with military aircraft and helicopters.
