Massive Blaze Destroys 50 Homes in Michigan

GRAYLING, Mich. —
Thousands of acres were burning out of control Tuesday in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, destroying at least 50 houses, prompting evacuations and injuring at least one firefighter, state officials said. A 14-square-mile area was evacuated as wind gusting to more than 20 m.p.h. fanned the flames.
