Buddy Holly Memories for Sale: Memorabilia from the personal collection of rock legend Buddy Holly will be auctioned by Sotheby’s in New York June 23. Among the featured items are the musician’s 1958 Fender Stratocaster Electric Guitar, with an estimated value between $60,000 and $70,000, and his personal notebook, which contains Holly’s thoughts and musings. A pair of Holly’s trademark glasses is expected to go for $6,000-$8,000.
