State Unemployment Claims Decrease

WASHINGTON —
Initial claims for state unemployment insurance benefits fell by 22,000 to 350,000 for the week ending April 28, the Labor Department reported today.
The government also reported that during the week of April 21, the seasonally adjusted rate of insured unemployment decreased to 2.3% from 2.4%, with 2.44 million workers claiming state benefits.
