Enos Semore, who resigned Jan. 18 after 22 seasons as baseball coach at the University of Oklahoma, was treated and released from a Ft. Smith, Ark., hospital after being shot in the left shoulder, Haskell County authorities said.

Semore was shot from behind in the left shoulder at the home of Wanda Bryant, Haskell County Sheriff Bill Sparks said. The shooting occurred about midnight.

Paul Bryant, 62, identified as Wanda Bryant’s ex-husband, was released Saturday after posting bail on a $250,000 bond on a complaint of shooting with intent to kill. Sparks said the Bryants divorced about nine months ago.
