Tian An Men Square Tribute: The Project for Tian An Men Square, a song and music video to commemorate the anniversary of the Chinese students killed June 4, 1989, is being completed this week in New York. Marshall Crenshaw, Grover Washington Jr., Ashford and Simpson, Michelle Shocked and Richie Havens are among the 50 artists participating in the project, which will be released June 4. Officials said proceeds will support nonprofit organizations “dedicated to shaping a democratic future for China through education and dialogue.”
