Graduate Student Charged With School Books Theft

HOUSTON — A history student working for his doctorate at Texas A&M; University has been charged with stealing nearly 600 books worth more than $500,000 from universities in Texas, Florida and Louisiana. Charlton J. Matovsky was arrested by FBI agents in College Station, Tex., and charged with interstate transportation of stolen property. He was freed on bond Wednesday.
