The Sensitive Issue of Breslin’s Remarks

Share

The article on Jimmy Breslin was horrifying. To think that a so-called intelligent man could resort to this kind of attack. Josh Getlin reveals to us that, “Breslin has tyrannized editors, reporters, copy messengers and others with a bullying, arrogant persona” ever since he set foot in a newsroom, so we really shouldn’t be surprised at his remarks to Ji-Yeon Yuh.

Breslin defines himself correctly when he states, “I am no good and once again I can prove it.” He goes on to say “I can say anything I . . . please.” True Mr. Breslin, we are fortunate in this country to have freedom of speech . . . the tragedy is that there are still people that think the way you do.
