Strawberry Festival Gets Started Today

The 32nd annual Garden Grove Strawberry Festival begins today, highlighted by the slicing of the world’s largest strawberry shortcake.

The festival, which includes carnival games and rides, arts and crafts, and food and game booths, will get under way at 1 p.m. in Village Green Park, 12762 Euclid Ave.

The festival’s main event, the Strawberry Festival Parade, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
