Ex-Exchange Chief Barred From Trading: An administrative law judge found Brian P. Monieson, former head of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, guilty of failing to supervise two employees accused of defrauding customers. Monieson, chairman of GNP Commodities Inc., was barred from futures trading and fined $500,000. He will appeal. Ira P. Greenspon and Norman K. Furlett were found guilty of initiating futures contracts without customer account numbers, then keeping profitable trades for themselves while socking customers with any losses.
