Bonn Launches Unity Ad Drive

BONN —
The West German government is launching a $15 million advertising campaign to persuade East and West Germans that economic union between their two countries is a good thing.
The government press office said Thursday that the campaign slogan will be: “One Germany, One Europe, One Future.”
The two Germanys have signed a treaty to merge their economies starting July 1. East Germany will begin introducing a free-market economy.
