Managed Health Network has named Ronald W. Moreland, former president of Equicor’s Western operations, as its president and chief executive. Los Angeles-based Managed Health Network provides managed mental health and employee assistance programs to 350 companies and governmental agencies. Moreland, 49, has been president of Equicor’s Western division since 1988. Equicor was founded as an insurance joint venture of Equitable Life Assurance Co. and Hospital Corp. of America.
