Ethiopian Rebels Threaten Attacks

NAIROBI, Kenya —
Ethiopian rebels warned Tuesday that if a proposal to use Soviet aircraft to take U.S. food aid to famine victims goes ahead, the planes could be attacked.
Presidents Bush and Mikhail S. Gorbachev agreed last weekend on the proposal to help speed up food deliveries.
