SHORT TAKES : Coca Hooked on Soap Operas

Former television star Imogene Coca is now a television buff who has gotten hooked on the soap operas.
“I stay fit but I’m practicing to be a recluse,” Coca said in Parade magazine interview coming out this weekend.
“I don’t go out much, except to the theater. And I’ve gotten hooked on the soaps,” she added.
“You get so caught up. There’s this one girl who has murdered three people and hasn’t gotten her comeuppance yet. But she’s so adorable. I could have killed Dan Rather one day during a crisis when he came on, and I couldn’t see the soaps. And it wasn’t even that great a crisis, either.’
