Ann Curry Goes East: Ann Curry, who has been a reporter with KCBS-TV News since 1984, has been hired as a correspondent for NBC News. Curry will initially be based in New York. She has won several awards, including an Emmy for live coverage of an unscheduled news event for the October, 1987, Whittier Narrows earthquake.
