Charity League Funds 2 AIDS Organizations
The Peninsula Chapter of National Charity League has given two AIDS organizations $1,000 each. Recipients are Mothers of AIDS Patients, a support group for families of people with AIDS, and Being Alive-South Bay, which helps people with AIDS or those whose condition has been diagnosed as the HIV virus that causes AIDS. The money was part of $81,000 given by the philanthropic organization.
