Nation IN BRIEF : MARYLAND : Luck Is With Bush on Fishing Outing
President Bush had one of his better days as a fisherman, reeling in 10 largemouth bass from a private pond near the presidential retreat at Camp David, Md. “He did real well,” said Bush’s fishing guide, Robert W. Abraham of Smithsburg, Md. Abraham, who owns the pond where he and Bush went fishing, said he was impressed with the President’s angling skills. The President threw back all of the bass, which measured from eight inches to a foot, a White House spokesman said.
