From Times Staff and Wire Reports

The Blues Brothers’ suits brought $12,000 and a red satin jacket with “John” embroidered on it fetched $1,400 at the John Belushi Memorial Auction in Chicago. “We’re thrilled,” said the comedian’s widow, Judy Jacklin Belushi, who donated all the items in the sale, which raised more than $100,000 for a fund for aspiring actors founded in the comedian’s name.
