Parachute Fails, Man Dies in Plunge From Building

PHILADELPHIA —
A daredevil’s parachute failed, and he plummeted 54 floors to his death from the top of a skyscraper under construction. Police said Robert Morris Jr., 26, of Mt. Joy, Pa., was one of two men who jumped from the Mellon Bank building Sunday. The survivor fled after landing safely but later called police to identify the dead man.
