NRA and Second Amendment
The Commentary page of the June 10 edition of The Times contained a cartoon by Conrad showing a silhouette of various “killing machines.” Some guns were shown, and listed as the “NRA’s killing machines.”
I am a National Rifle Assn. member, I have never killed anyone, nor do I ever intend to. Nor do know of any NRA member who ever has, or ever intends to kill another person. The NRA as an association does not endorse or encourage the killing of humans.
I resent the denigrating portrayal of this minority of Americans. Please use better taste and judgment in selecting cartoons for publication.
