Ingram Micro D Names 3 to Foreign Positions

Ingram Micro D, the Santa Ana-based distributor of microcomputer products, has named three executives to its foreign subsidiaries.

Ruud Pels has been appointed vice president of product for an Ingram Micro D Inc. affiliate, Ingram Softeurop of Belgium, with responsibility for new vendor acquisitions. Pels was previously the company’s business development manager.

Thierry Denaisse was named vice president and chief financial officer for the Belgium unit. Before joining Ingram Softeurop, Denaisse was the financial and tax manager for the Nestle Suisse Group in Belgium, and served as financial manager of Belgian American Express.

In addition, Dale Newman joined Ingram Micro D Ltd. of Canada as vice president of sales. He had previously been with Software Publishing Corp.
