AN UNHEALTHFUL SITUATION

Share

In his comment about improper grammar on TV shows, David R. Moss (Viewers’ Views, June 3) should have added the misuse of adverbs and adjectives to his list.

One of my pet peeves is the use of the adjective “healthy” to modify inanimate objects instead of “healthful.” I also would like to know how anyone can use the word “terrible” to describe a human mind instead of using it to describe wasting it. And this from an institution of higher learning.
